Spectators watch a drill at Camp Shaver in City Park (now MacArthur Park) during the United Confederate Veterans Reunion, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, May 15-18, 1911. On the left is a band. On the right are soldiers in uniform in formation. Veterans in the encampment christened the camp "Camp Shaver" for Colonel Robert G. Shaver of Mena, Polk County, Arkansas who recruited, organized and commanded the 7th Arkansas Regiment for the Confederate Army.
